No. Students from anywhere in the United States who meet the eligibility requirements can enroll in the program! Please note that online classical music lessons require a reliable internet connection.
Once accepted, each student receives an initial four free 30-minute lessons, scheduled at a time that works both for our music instructors and the student. The lessons will occur at the same day and time each week. As long as the student continues to show satisfactory progress, additional 30-minute lessons will continue to be provided.
Students are asked to provide at least 24 hours notice if they need to miss a lesson. Because volunteer instructors reserve time specifically for each student, missed lessons are generally not rescheduled. Students may continue with their next regularly scheduled lesson. Two unexplained no-shows during a 4-lesson cycle may result in removal from the program.
