About the Volunteer Program
Volunteer instructors begin by teaching a set of four lessons to one assigned student (one lesson per week). The 30-minute lessons are taught online from home, occurring at the same day and time each week which has been set by the volunteer's availability.
Submit Application
Complete our online volunteer application with information about your musical background, teaching experience, and preferred student age groups.
2. Application Review
Our team reviews your application, as well as your short performance video, to assess skill level and teaching fit. Applications are reviewed within 5–10 business days.
3. Onboarding
Accepted volunteers complete an onbaording orientation. After that, you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing classical music lessons!
Volunteer Qualifications
18 years or older
Proficient in the classical instrument they teach
Comfortable teaching children, teens, adults or all three
